This year we plan to have a lot of great things to offer.
New will be coursing, a cooking challenge, village style set-up, hafla, and much more.
The theme this year is focused on: Who you are? Where'd you come from? How did you get here?
We are going to create a village style set-up where most of the activities will revolve
around each other so one can shop, participate, take classes etc. in the same area.
To make this a VILLAGE we need you to bring your day camps and add your persona's
best and display your colors. Bring out your persona's activity and share with others.
Be a part of the village. (Note: camping will still happen in the designated camping areas).
Please check the website often, as all the information hasn't been uploaded yet,
and we are adding stuff as it comes in!
Hope to see everyone at Border Skirmish this YEAR!!!
Note: Coursing activities have unfortunately been CANCELLED, due to unforeseen circumstances.
Dogs can still be brought to site, subject to the rules on the site page.

The spaces are planned to create a market area which will also include a coffeehouse
and a performance area.
Directions: From Interstate 43, take exit 25 onto State Route 67 North (S Lincoln St); continue
just over 1 mile and turn right on E Court St. Site will be half a mile ahead on your right.
Look for the main gate with the large electronic sign (other gates that may be open
will not have signage – we are not using the entire site).
It’s summer – that means road construction!
PLEASE BE AWARE that if your planned route to Border Skirmish uses I-90/94 through Chicago,
FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE! The IL Dept of Transportation has announced that I-90/94
will be down from 7 lanes to TWO just north of the city (at the Ohio/Ontario feeder ramps,
if you're familiar with the Kennedy) for demolition and reconstruction of an overpass.
This will take place on the weekends of June 14-15, June 21-22, and June 28-29.
Traffic is guaranteed to be a NIGHTMARE. Avoid this section of I-90/94 if at all possible.
Also, if your route uses WI-50, the exit from I-94 is closed.
Use the exit for County C and head north on the East Frontage Road to get to Hwy 50.
Check these two links for traffic and road conditions in the area:
Or tune to WBBM-AM 780 for Chicago area traffic reports every 10 minutes around the clock.
