Site Information:

  • Site Rule #1: Play nice, share the toys, and don’t do anything stupid.
  • “Wet” site – please be responsible. When in doubt, check ID.
  • The site is mostly handicap-accessible.
  • The site is mostly level with some shaded areas. There are electrical connections of the type used for RVs – a limited number of converters for CPAP machines and the like are available at Troll. There will be a designated quiet camping area (although it is not shady).
  • We are not renting the entire site – there may be folk using other areas. Please be courteous, especially when driving through the site or encountering horses.
  • Because there will be other, non-attendees that could potentially wander in, we will be checking site tokens regularly to ensure everyone has signed in and is covered by SCA insurance (via waivers).
  • Please unload at your campsite and move your vehicle back to the parking area as quickly as possible. There will be a designated handicap-parking area; ask at Troll for directions.
  • We will have a large fire pit for bardic activities – please check the schedule when posted or at Troll.
  • Above-ground fires are permitted so long as they do not damage the turf. Please do not bring in firewood from outside a 50-mile radius of the area (to avoid transporting insect infestations). A list of firewood vendors will be available at Troll. DO NOT LEAVE FIRES UNATTENDED – SECURITY PATROLS WILL BE EMPOWERED TO EXTINGUISH ANY UNATTENDED FIRES. All fires must have some sort of extinguisher – bucket of sand, (dedicated) bucket of water, fire extinguisher, etc – in easy reach.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Like any large event, there are always things that need doing. If you would like to volunteer a few hours as a WaterBearer, Longshoreman, Gatekeeper, Marshal or Security Patrol, please contact the appropriate staff person in advance or stop by Troll during the event. Thank you!
